Youth

ki-low-na cecemala

We provide a safe space for Indigenous youth to learn about culture and identity, build life skills, engage in recreational activities, gain volunteer experience, reach out for positive support, meet with Elders and other knowledge keepers, and much more. Youth are also connected to other Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society programs and other community resources as needed, such as housing, mental health, addictions counselling, and employment or educational resources. For more information, or to join our youth program, contact (250) 763-4905 or email youthcoordinator@wp252988.wpdns.ca. Funding for this program is provided by the Government of Canada via the B.C. Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres through the Urban Programming for Indigenous Peoples Organizational Capacity funding stream.
