Honouring the Voices and Lives of MMIWG2S+
Red Dress Day is a powerful day of remembrance inspired by Métis artist Jamie Black’s REDress Project. The empty red dresses symbolize the Indigenous women, girls, and gender-diverse people who have gone missing or been murdered across Canada — and whose stories too often go unheard.

At Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society, we gather annually to march in honour of victims, survivors, and their families. Our walk to the Kelowna Courthouse is both an act of visibility and a call to action — to raise awareness, demand justice, and push for meaningful policy change.

Join the Movement
Everyone is welcome to participate. Whether you choose to march, wear red in solidarity, or witness in reflection, your presence carries power.
