Honouring and Remembering MMIWG2S
Sisters in Spirit Day is a national day of remembrance and action to honour the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S). This annual event brings communities together to raise awareness of the ongoing crisis of gender-based violence that continues to impact Indigenous families and nations across Canada.

At Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society, we hold space for families, survivors, and allies to gather in solidarity. Through ceremony, prayer, and community connection, we continue to uplift the voices of those affected, demand justice, and call for meaningful systemic change.

How You Can Participate
We welcome all community members to join us at 442 Leon Avenue on October 4. Whether you come to listen, speak, support, or reflect — your presence matters.
